Life In Pursuit will offer a free concert Saturday at the Queens’ MarketPlace Coronation Pavilion.

Part of Queens’ Marketplace’s Monthly Mini-Concert Series, the band takes the stage from 6 to 8 p.m.

Life in Pursuit comprises brothers, Chase and Carl Kauhane, of Waimea, and drummer Chris Ward. The Kauhane brothers grew up playing music together and turned their favorite pasttime in to a career in 2010 with Life In Pursuit.

Since the origin of the band, Life In Pursuit has musically evolved into its unique sound, which is described as laid-back, rhythm-based acoustic rock with tinges of hip hop, reggae and blues.
